Enrolments:
Enrolments & bookings are completed online through website booking form. Bookings are completed when payment is made in full.Please make sure all details are filled, it is the parents responsibility to ensure all information is current and up to date.It is the parents responsibility to notify all teachers of any requirements and allergies before class.
Payment Options:
- Credit card online via website.
- Cash in person/studio payment.
- Direct Debit (Enquire for Further Information)
Please make us aware when paying via direct debit in order for us to mark you off as booked, as we receive many direct debits without reference and receipt making it difficult to locate payment.
Missed Lessons:
Missed lessons cannot be made up unless negotiated a min 24hour in advance to the students absence. A maximum of 2 missed lessons can be made up by negotiation in the term, and approved by class teacher or director. Missed lessons cannot be made up in another term.
There is no discount or reduction in fees for a missed classes. Please understand that classes are carefully planned to suit skill and extension.
In the event that we cancel, artists will be notified via text or email and entitled to a full refund or credit.
Class numbers are set and additional students for makeup classes must not exceed set number classes. Lessons are sequential with materials prepared especially on the day.
No refund will be issued on term fees once the term has commenced.
Paid fees or deposits cannot be transferred to another term, and are non refundable.
Deposits to hold a place in the class are non refundable and are essential to ensure place in class is not for forted.
Event Cancellations:
If you cancel a workshop, event, private booking or party, a refund will not be given. Booking fees secure the booking date and time for you and are non refundable. A transfer of the date is subject to availability and staffing and will incur a transfer fee. If we cancel, you will be given a range of options to choose from.
Who Can Attend:
Only enrolled children are permitted to attend the class, unfortunately we cannot accommodate friends and family join in, watch or stay during session time.
Pre-school accompanying adults permitted, one per child only.
Parents of children school age may not stay during lesson time. This is in the best interest of the child/class developmental learning. Our insurance for school age children only covers enrolled students and those employed by the studio.
Classes may very from advertised timetable depending on days/times as negotiated by individual studios, parents and teachers. Minimum numbers apply and classes will not run until minimum numbers have been reached.
Clothing:
Art is messy so we recommend children attend with old clothing that’s not to important to them or a welcome to use an art smoke, but will not be forced to wear them.Some materials will stain, The Artsy Kid is not responsible for damaged belongings.
Art Supplies:
We do our best to buy paints and other materials which are non-toxic. It is the parents responsibility to advise of any allergies and to check ingredients if unsure.
Liability Waiver:
As a participant or guardian to a participant, you agree to take on full responsibility for any damages injuries and for physical and/or personal property, which your child might incur whilst participating in classes or events organised by the Artsy Kid.
Photo Consent:
As a participant or guardian to a participant you agree to give The Artsy Kid unrestricted publishing rights for any photographs or videos taken at The artsy Kid classes and events or on the Artsy kid premises. If you do not wish for photographs, please advise in writing and also tell the teacher on the first class.
Policy for the use of Mobile phones & electronic devises:
Whilst at The Artsy Kid, any mobile phones or electronic devices must be kept in students bag unless in an emergency situation and not used during session time, this includes taking or making phone calls (unless to or from a parent) text messaging, internet use or any other function including facebook, twitter, snapchat, Tik Tok or instagram or use the camera to record in any way, from still, video or sound recording. All students and staff have the right to feel safe, protected and not to be distracted by the use of phones or electronic devices during art lessons.
Phones should be left on silent in the students bag and can only be accessed at the end of a session (if required) for communication purposes with a parent or caregiver.
Phones or electronic devices may only be used at the completion of the lesson time to record a students own personal artworks. Work, images, ideas or drawings by any other student or staff member cannot be recorded or photographed at any time at The Artsy Kid.
If a student is found to be in breech of the policy during session time, the teacher will request the phone to be left in their care and the teacher will return it directly to the parent at the conclusion of the lesson.
Accompanying parents with our pre school children may use their device to photograph their child for personal purposes only.Other children may not be photographed without the other parent permission. Staff and class lessons may not be recorded or photographed. Lessons in progress may not be recorded in any way, this includes photography, video, instagram or Tik Tok.
